3 8 gang and Marketing

3 8 gang~~ lol....

As Sue announced in her blog n msn...
38 gang is established!!!
on 23 July 2008...
the gang that always talking about sth lame & cold jokes...
but they fill my uni life with laughter and happiness...
3 guys n 5 pretty girls...haha...
Jonathan Khoo, Mun Keat, Wen Hao, Sue, Hui Sean, Yen Ming, Suh Ming & ME...

Again, as Sue said, "It's time to enjoy our uni life, study hard and play hard..."
I agree...but so far we haven't join any clubs yet...
Mayb i'll not...it's quite tough in this semester...

The most scary unit to me is....Marketing...
challenging and stress...
high requirement from the tutor...
anyway, the lectures are quite enjoyable...
at least, it wont make me feel sleepy in audi...
together with the 'mou liu' jokes made by the lecturer...haha
now only I realize that Marketing is really really tougher that Management...
Management is more on teamwork...the only stress for that is the assignments...
35% for 2 assignments... I did spent a lot of efforts...
To prove to myself that i can tackle both management and science...

haha...it's quite wierd right?
Why Science student learn marketing?
There're not too many science units as electives in Monash...
Only environmental science...
the rest are related to either business or arts...
then i dont know why i didn't switch my choice...
insist of taking marketing...
as long as 38 gang taking marketing also...
but i think as a biotechnologist, we need marketing skills to promote our products too...
and we are quite lucky to study business besides science...

I wont refuse studying business subject...
but it's a challenge to me...
to have 'business brain'...
to have more sense on advertisement and any 'markets' around...
to behave like a 'businessgirl' (i'm not woman yet...hehe =p)
i always perceive those businessmen are 100% confident and good speakers...
A 'businessgirl' has to be analytical to what people present...
and afterthat, gonna ask questions or comment...
I know... this is the right attitude...
but i have to think in the way of marketing...
maybe...it's just a first tutorial class to me...
and i'll be better for the coming next...
hopefully...haha...
i'll try to improve myself...
looking forward to transformation...hehe

and i wanna mention that business unit textbooks are damn expensive...
Marketing...RM 138 in EMO...
but it's worth for personal collection...a book with hardcover looks premium...
"OMG..." the book is out of stock...
we cant have it 4 doing tutorial assignment...
and 2 weeks for the books shipping from Australia...
sigh...
