09年末--最后一章

哇~~~终于来到2009年的最后一天啦...也是我完成1/2 attachment的一天...可以吃红鸡蛋了...哈哈哈...感触现在倒是没有，跨年倒数的气氛也没有，时间差不多了也许就会自己high一下，心里默数吧...再多两个小时，就是人生21岁的开始了...登登登登~~~~

看回过去，今年写的篇章次数比去年逊色耶，只有2008的一半，哈哈哈~~无所谓啦...今年很忙嘛...哈哈，烂藉口>.<

这个月来天天忙工作，没有好好想过新的一年有什么计划咧...不过我倒是觉得自己在这短短的一个月内成长了不少，开始觉得我长大了，该背起一些责任了...很开心的是自己有能力帮到别人...自从工作以来就没见过任何朋友了，因为表哥结婚摆酒，倒见了很多亲戚，可爱的舅舅们也开始有facebook account 了，也看到很多小外甥，平时忙课业也没什么机会看到他们，这次见到也让我特别珍惜...

其实有时候觉得工作还挺不错的，至少回到家以后没有功课，也不需要温习, 可以有更多的时间去跟家人相处...平时忙起来真的把聊天的时间也省掉，妈妈忙起来也不太理会我说些什么有的没的...而且下班后回到家有妈妈煮的饭菜，真的很幸福呢!!! 因为妈妈工作的时候，大部分日子都是打包晚餐的，平时忙起来还真觉得打包最方便，就像速食一样，赶快解决就可以继续忙了...所以这段日子以来我很珍惜...

再多一个月的期待，就可以看到他了...太多特别的日子没有他了,这次的见面机会有多少呢?

Industrial Attachment (First Week)

It has been 5 days for my industrial training in the hospital laboratory department.. to be more accurate, it's so called Jabatan Pathologi at Pantai Hospital Ampang. It's not as big as what i expected, but good enough though. It's just the branch hospital, so the laboratory department is not as big as the HQ at Pantai Hospital Bangsar. But i'm now slowly get used to the environment, culture and the people here. Everything is so NICE, i should say i am quite LUCKY to be here. Will tell more later~ =)

On the first day, i was there pretty early. Sujadhini and I was assigned to the same hospital. She lives in Kajang while i'm from Seri Kembangan, both of us gonna go Ampang from Monday to Saturday =.='' Both of us were late on the third day, because of the terrible traffic jam during rainy day. 6km per hour, u can imagine how jam it was!! But the traffic getting smoother after passing some of the busy roads. i was late for 45 minutes.

The lab manager, Ms Shanaliza and all the staff there are all so friendly. They like joking while doing their work and everyone gets along with one another so well. This enlivens the atmosphere of working, it's a good culture practice. I thought English is the main communication language in a working place. Well, the people here are usually speaking Malay. The language that i have spoken the least in my life, i think... The lab is the miniature version of Malaysian society - Satu Malaysia, with Malay as the majority, Chinese and Indian working together. This is the reason why i gonna speak the bahasa kebangsaan in the lab. But there's exception, the Chinese people in the lab speak Cantonese to one another.

Besides all the lab people, there are quite a number of dispatch riders who are responsible of collecting samples from clinics at different areas. So, there would be around 100 samples everyday. It's not so bored to be in the lab everyday. I'm currently in the microbiology and serology section. The staff works in this section, Kak Wany, she has taught me a lot of stuff. She let me do the urine FEME test, urine pregnancy test (UPT), drug (amphetamine, morphine, opiates, cannabinoids) test and sometimes the acid-fast bacilli (AFB) stain and she even let me do the Mycoplasmal pneumoniae serology test. I did learn a lot these few days, i even saw sperms under microscope!!! At first, i cant bear with the smelly urine samples once open the bottle cap, but now i'm really get used to them. It's unavoidable that the gloves to get wet with the urine because in some cases, the urine leaks. And the most nauseas thing was the stool sample that we got a few days ago. It was so yuccckkyy!!! it's like plasticine and ice-cream.

Besides, Uncle Chan, who's responsible for the blood bank section. He has taught a me lot too. His job covers blood grouping rhesus factor, rheumatoid arthritis factor, VDRL test for detecting syphilis infection, glucose-6-phsosphate dehydrogenase deficiency (G6PD) test, blood cross match, etc... He taught me how to intepret all results of most of the tests.

So it's lucky that i'm here, i have learnt a lot and experienced how the lab people handle during emergency/critical moment (when patients that having operation needs blood transfusion urgently). But sometimes it's tiring to work from 9am till 5.30pm and working for half day on Saturday. I'm most happy on Saturday because can go home early rest well on Sunday. Now i did realize the importance of having sufficient sleep. hehe.. My life is 'forced' to going back into normal track. Good for me though...haha...a good motive force =)

贰零~壹壹~贰零零久

考完final已经有两个星期的事了，Year 2 就这样结束了。
这个semester, 我对我自己的表现是满意的，先撇开成绩不说, 毕竟那还是个未知数。。。
是态度吧，很有劲，也很坚持，虽然牺牲了好多个夜晚，只要认真付出，我都觉得值得。
希望下个semester可以依然抱持着同样的态度，为的是同一个原则：对得起自己就好^^

从放假开始，就完全漠视白天或黑夜，放肆地在追看"小娘惹", 不用几天就追到大结局去了。
是很有意思的一部剧，故事的架构，服装，布景都很棒。有好几幕都把我带到戏里头，跟戏里的主角感同身受，眼泪是有些失控了。演员们的努力把每个角色都发挥得淋漓尽致，好久没看过那么好的一部剧了，这部的确让我印象深刻。前两天还跟朋友去马六甲走走看看，其中的目的就是去参观，体验娘惹的文化，饮食...可惜，娘惹博物馆里是禁止拍照的。戏里的rempah undang我也尝到了，是真的很好吃！！我也特别喜欢ang ku kuih...这里尝到的跟平时巴刹买的是很不一样的哦，这里的馅料做得很细腻，很香。

还有一个星期，就要到Pantai Pandah Indah Hospital开始我的attachment了，都不知要为自己悲哀还是高兴好。真的希望可以学到东西~~~ 而且，可以借此机会了解自己选的medical bioscience到底在医院是做什么的，也可以让我再次好好的考虑是否继续双学士文凭。

这个假期，朋友都各忙各的，有的就要飞去上海for chinese exchange program, 有的在KL或到外坡去做internship，有的帮教授做research, 有的选择拿summer course...大家加油咯，我们要隔一段日子才见面，希望大家一切顺利。All the best to all Monashian, have a great summer holiday.. we'll meet each other soon after...maybe one or two months later???

好期待我的dear还有好朋友们回来马来西亚，这次希望可以见到你们每一个...

Forever 6-2+1 Outing

It was an outing for half a month ago--22 January 2009--

Hmm, sorry for my laziness...quite busy during the Chinese New Year, and I was pretty sick after the first week of CNY, vomit, flatulence and almost lost appetite . And I cant definitely say i have totally recovered now. Will feel not comfortable every time after a meal.

Hmm..here are some photos that taken that day...I didn't check the battery status before the day, so there's not many though...

It was a rare chance for us (FOREVER 6) to meet up together... Soon ann absented as he hadn't back from Singapore as his CNY holiday not started yet, and Kor Woi had to go for his lectures. So 6-2 ppl met up that day, at MidValley - The Gardens...

Yi Yun and Chin Han just back from China and Ming Jian back from Aus. It was a big surprise to met Samuel there!!! He went there for restring and Chin Han called him up to join us. He is one of our good friends actually, just that he seldom joins us since he has left high school. So happy that get to meet him~~^^ He is still looked fair and not that chubby as in Junior 3 la...He is now at ANU already, all the best to you ya!!! And thanks that you treated us Baskin Robbins, yummy~~~

Samuel got to leave around 2 something because of band practice and 4 of us suddenly felt like going to sing K ( We like to sing since we have known each other ). It was fresh to sing K at The Gardens Redbox, we have not been here before, and it looks quite resplendent.

Feel delighted and leisured during sing K, we sang a lot of songs, including mandarin, cantonese, malay and english pop songs, some are classics in the very old time...We all quite high when standing on the couch, shaking our bodies, making out weird sounds, shrilling, shouting instead of singing like so po so lou but it's really amusing...and also memorable for all of us...chin han and ming jian, you both did improved obviously...ming jian behaves like freak since he has been to Australia (haha, no offence ya..). Anyway, it's a good change to you, but not to be too wild, kay?

My First Part-time Job

Hello, Happy New Year to everyone...i noe it's kinda late. hehe^^

Hmm~ my first post in 2009.

I'm just back from working - my first part time job / my first job experience..

Representing Proter & Gamble, selling Gilette Mach 3 Turbo razor at Carefour Alamanda, Putrajaya.

It's not far from my house, just 12km in distance. Luckily i din get lost on the way, thanks for mum that guide me the way before this..

Previously, I dont used to read the signboard...But now I have learnt to, sometimes reading signboard is rather easier compared to reading the map.

And i'm quite lucky that my supervisor is staying at Serdang, he sent the demo tray for me laz night. He kept reminding me everything - black shoes, black polo tee, black pants, light make up, tie up the hair, no long nails bla bla bla...

The feeling of first job experience is kinda like 'seperti rusa masuk kampung' ...Ignorant and inexperience...haha.

Dunno where's the staff entrance is, the only way is just open ur mounth and ask...hehe...
Their security is a bit heavily guarded. Must conduct body search as you want to leave forbreak or duty off.

I felt that the time pass by very slowly during working, though that i tried my best approach the customers. The hardest 5-hour standing, promoting and walking. While the break time (5pm -6pm) flee like just a short moment.

It's quite hard to push the sales. Most customers are Malays, I found that the razor is somewhat expensive to them regardless of how good that product is. They prefer something economical and good enough. Even the replaceble catridge is much more expensive than others types, but still the product of Gilettte.

The last 3-hour was not that worse as I thought. Spot a lot people from Middle East and also Caucasians. Quite pleasant to talk with them. I'm not bias, those Malay are polite and friendly too.. I'm happy that I got a lot of feedback from customers, i'll try to pass this to the company.

Most Malay they shopping in Carefour with their family. Some kids like to play on my demo tray. I remembered that a baby gazed at me when I was explaining to his dad (the dad was carrying the baby), I was then totally distracted because his big eyes caught my attention. He is super cute!!!!

Apart from the experience I get throughout the working hours, I found that Malay man love their family, they take care of thier kids besides pushing trolly and let their wives shop...When I ask the the customer 'What brand of razor you are using right now?', some will turn their head to their women, 'Saya pakai apa brand arr? Sudah lupa pun...' but the women always know...haha...so sweet...

Hmm...gonna work again tomorrow...the hardest 5-hour...haiz~~~ my feet is very painful now...

Christmas Celebration- Genting Trip

Last Tuesday 23rd Dec...
As usual, I spent RM3.20 for toll, about 40 kilometres distance go and back from Monash...to attend Malaysian Studies Summer Class. Everything came into a mess in that morning, I headed to uni in a hurry and just realized I did not bring my IC, driving license and touch-n-go card at the half way. Fortunately, there were no police along the road...

Rushing from Monash to home as dear bought the bus ticket that would depart for Genting at 5pm. Ya, quite sad that I was unable to go for Penang trip with my 38 gang last time coz of some arguments with parents. Dear rushed from his place too, and lastly we missed the bus. Haha, not the reason of we arrived behind time, the bus had its own time that was earlier than ours.

Luckily, we still can take the 6pm bus with the tickets coz there were not many passangers. One and a half hour later, we took skyway to Genting. Once getting off from the skyway, we met up with dear's friends at Resort Hotel. They are friends who grow up together, play together since childhood. Mostly guys and only one girl. Haha, it's fine since I'm not a truly lady-like girl. They are all nice and humorous.

Thanks Jia Wei's dad and so we were offered cheaper price for staying 2 nights at Resort. The air was cooling at night, it was enjoyable as the place was decorated with lots of embelishements. The shimmer of lights somehow created the ambience of Christmas. We saw a choir group standing at the entrance of Resort Hotel, presenting Christmas songs to entertain all of us.

It was a leisure trip that we roaming around without hurry. Not many pictures taken as those guys dont really like taking picture. We had a great dinner at Coffee Terrace, it's contended to have it at Christmas Eve with friends together. Those guys played jokes and everyone laughed. It was a happy night.

There are 2 big-sized guys in the group, they played trick on those games for kid. Kids have to throw the balls into the holes, but they bend over their bodies and just put those balls into the holes! They achieved full score effortlessly and got a lot of tickets.

We played archery at the second day. The bow is pretty heavy!!! And I was using my left hand to hold the bow and thus my arm ached. But later, I didnt feel pain anymore. Feeling bored at the half way coz I didnt play very well in the game, haha...Anyway, it was my first time playing archery.

There were huge crowd of people during Christmas Eve. And I bumped into Tao Min there with her sikeling group (Khai Lun, Soon Kian, Gin Yi, Zheng Fa, Yu Min, Zhen Ning, Zhi Yong, Ke Xin), both of us were so excited to meet in Genting until we hugged together. Haha, I felt so surprised to see them, some we didnt meet into each other since graduate and someone has forgotten my name. Hahaha, but he remembered my name at last, nice to meet him again and this time he is hand in hand with his girlfriend, Mei Ying.

A few minutes before Christmas, all the youths were gathered together outside the Genting and Highlands Hotel, together celebrating the coming of Christmas. Everyone was looking up to the sky, eagerly awaiting for the dazzling fireworks. While, a bit disappointed that no firework was played. The people all 'syok sendiri'. Faintly saw free-style dancing PK in the crowd. It was enjoyable as no fireworks though.

I found something remarkable from these guys after getting along with them in several days. Guys' room is always in a mess right? But these guys they would tidy up and they wont soil thier bed. Haha...

It was a nice trip as dear always along with me, his friends are all funny and felt great to be together with them. Nice to meet you all!!!

11.12.2008 Public Holiday

it's public holiday today!!! Hari Keputeraan Sultan Selangor...
so i dont have to go for LAN studies class...wahaha....
i had a quite healthy lifesyle this morning.

Woke up at 8 and then went jongging with my whole family. Hmm, when was the last time i went jogging? That time i was alone, not fun =( but it's totally different today. The whole family all join!

I was unwilling to get up at first, coz i slept at 3am!!! hahaha...it's my fault. Sleep too much then get insomnia at night!
We jogged and then walked to the nearby kopitiam to have breakfast.
There was a stray dog kept stalking behind me. I fear of dogs!!! I dont really feel good when the dogs was approaching to me. Then I walked in a fast pace (not ran =p) across the road, and I found he was still behind me! Oh my godness, then i tried to slow down my speed, and walked away from it.

Will go Pui Yi's house later, we are going to buy a birthday present.
But i miss out the chance to go NiuZeXui (NZX) with my family!! T_T
My dad just planned it in the morning.
I've never been there before. Well, next time~~~
And tonight we have birthday party (a.k.a primary school gathering) at Poni house...hahaha...a party that kills two birds with one stone, right? ^0^

(Chai Bing) No...i treat him as my brother...however, he used to be my shooting target previously...and he treat me as a guy...hahaha

My Little Sister's Birthday Party

It was a super busy day yesterday as the whole family members busy preparing for my sister's 10th birthday, which actually fall on 11th November, we made her a birthday party on Sunday. And she desperates for it a long time ago. She asked my dad to make her a Barbie Doll birthday cake. My dad, mum and I busy cleaning the house from the early morning until the sun set. My house was not that dirty, haha...just to tidy up all those stuff, make them pleasing to eyes. I was the driver who travelled in and out, buying paper plates, fork, ice and so on, fetching my sister's friend. I was bewildered after going out and coming back for a several times, and I told the wrong direction to my sister's friend's mother. What i told was right at first, and i clarified the wrong thing to her, then i corrected for my misrepresentation. Haiz, damn embarrassed at that moment!!!

We asked for catering coz it's much easier for not preparing so much of stuff. My sister just invited a few of her friends, all girls. Oh my god, my little sister doesnt like to invite boys. Most of the cousins were invited to my house, it was liked a family gathering. A lot of kids, babies, teens and adult. Busy chatting with my cousins, from table to table. Some babies got into tantrum, asking for toy. Then i had to carry those toys from cabinet to them, some want to play masak-masak, then some like cars, ultraman, spiderman. Hahaha...I was also the cameragirl. And yet, they tend to turn their head over when they found i spot on them. For this reason, i resigned from photographing and authorized my little cousin to do this job. Haha.

At the end, my dad, mum and I still had to do the cleaning chores. Sweeping and mopping the floor, wiping table, collecting waste, tidying up the living room...wah...damn tired...my sister just enjoyed the party and need not to do anything. so pity we are...hehe...It's ok for once in time, she is little girl and we have to do for her.

Chong Hwa Graduation Day

星期六那天, 08112008...也是中华第47届毕业典礼。。。
淑桦找我回去中华，也顺便来个咸菜家族聚会。。。
反正我已经考完试了。。。也想见见咸菜们，探望一下母校。。。
哈哈，7点钟就已经起床了，其实是睡不醒被妈咪叫醒的。。。
过后就去Serdang KTM载淑桦。。。
这是我第一次自己驾车回中华，并没有迷路哦^^
其实我真的很路痴，我所懂得路都是断断续续的，幸亏有妈咪亲手画的地图。。。嘻嘻~
也很开心终于可以自己驾车回自己的母校。。。哈哈~
最后还是很顺利的在25分钟内就到中华啦。。。
还顺便去载那个宁可在Uma等我们的翠文。。。
她很早就在那里啦，应该是在那里一边吃早餐一边读Law。。。哈哈~让你久等啦。。。
一踏进光前堂，就看到很yeng（穿着coat)的学长为我们开门。。。
仅仅这个就让我很吃惊了。。。
当时已经在播着毕业班的短片了。。。
感觉他们挺有创意的，而且一个短片的还蛮长。。。
其实中间的我也不多说啦，因为节目大体上是大同小异的，整体上有比我们上一届的来得及好一些。。。而且光前堂镇的变美了。。。
当中，我还到处去逛逛看看学校在这一年以来到底有什么变化。。。
食堂的员工都有统一的制服。。。
国字楼的厕所被初二班级领养+美化。。。
学校里的植物茂盛了许多。。。
光前堂楼上的走廊终于被挂上“门帘”，不像以前看上去拉拉杂杂的。。。
可是窗口的玻璃片两端都粘上（应该是胶纸吧）。。。防止玻璃片滑下。。。
也许还有更多的变化没被我发现吧。。。
其间也有遇到一些老师，有些老师还能记得我已经很开心啦。。。像张焜水，林桂菁，郑守旺，Ong Kee Lian,阿金。。。
在学校里看到那些认识的毕业生，阔别一年，我只记得样子，名字就真的不太记得了。。。
看到我的契弟，看不到阿仔。。。
还有从澳洲飞回来的俐婷，来当朋友的摄影师的源伟，雪玮，振宇，毅轩，俊薇，诗凿，陈家豪。。。


离开中华后，咸菜们（雪莉，道敏，翠文，淑桦还有我，少了一个Kakashi在台湾）回到咸菜们的住处探望婆婆。。。
哈哈，我和翠文两个福建话白痴，一直望着雪莉要她翻译，道敏就做“代言人”。。。
淑桦的福建话本来就没问题。。。
过后我们去到Kepong的太子茶餐厅吃午餐，也是吃我的brunch。。。哈哈~
在那里gathering一下，聊聊天。。。
过后去Jusco走走消化。。。
那天Jusco真的很多人耶。。。连parking floor也会jam。。。
最另我吃惊的是我初一的同班同学还认得我跟我Hi...
因为印象中自从初一我在中华校园里真的很少看见她们。。。


还有多少年以后我还会回去中华呢？会不会越来越少？
有些朋友说，毕业了却始终没办法脱离中华。。。
因为他们的大学就是个小中华。。。
而我现在的大学是个跟中华完全隔离的地方。。。
要寻找独中生的几率很少。。。
一个没有多少人跟我相似背景文化的地方。。。
所以， 这一年来我都在适应不同的东西，学习不一样的文化。。。
不是要忘掉自己的根本，只是让自己随着环境去改变。。。
去学习更多在中华以外的东西。。。
当然还是会很想念自己身边一起在中华成长的朋友。。。
偶尔会希望生活圈子里还有中华生的存在。。。
是眷恋那份归属感吧？
但人总不能活在过去，要求新求变才会走出过去的影子。。。
我还需要时间去磨练自己，还有很多很多是我还没学会的。。。
人总是要随环境而变，所谓适者生存。。。
否则会被环境所淘汰。。。
在异地的朋友们， 加油哦！

Happy 19th Birthday to me!!!

Today is my 19th Birthday. Does it mean tat i'll be no longer as a teen? haha~

this is the very first time my birthday is fall on exam period. Previously in chong hwa i think i had gone thru my final exam as well as UEC. I told myself not have any celebration or outing today, bcoz i still have three more papers after!!! Yet, i have spent half of the day with my mum. She treated me a palatable lunch (with my favourite mocha=) and a special dress that i like it very much^^. The marketing, biology and biotech is waiting for me to digest them, damn a lot of stuff to memorize. And three more days of neck pain for maintaining the position of lowering my head during writing in exam.

It is exactly my birthday today eitheir in lunar or solar calendar. haha...would i have this such coincidence again in my lifetime? Thanks to mum coz she bring me to this world, and I know she did suffer a lot on the day of my birth. I was a stubborn fetus 19 years ago that too big in size and could not come out. No surgery is available coz some of the doctors is on leave that day. hehe...not to mention much about the story here.

I did a test about the age of ur thinking three days ago. I think normally people would get the result of older age in thinking that his actual. However, i got seventeen after doing the test...about 50% of childishness - 40% of maturity, and the proportion of ageing is 3%. I know i'm not mature enough and sometimes behave quite childish in uni (i dunno, somebody always say me so, haha~~). but i think the most important is act natural. Since i cant deny i have already 19 now, i am a bit afraid of growing older.haha~~

At the end, I want to thanks all my friends who wish me today. I treasure u all much...love u all...thanks for sms and calls...

Free of reports + Uni life

Hooo~~the mid sem break ended..no more assignments and reports!!! YAY!!~~ (actually i'm not happy with life without reports...haha...dunno~juz cant get accustomed to such 'a bit boring' life in a short while of time).And now i gonna concentrate on studies--for FINAL. 22 days left to the final battle, hope that i wont be slack within this days.
