My Little Sister's Birthday Party

It was a super busy day yesterday as the whole family members busy preparing for my sister's 10th birthday, which actually fall on 11th November, we made her a birthday party on Sunday. And she desperates for it a long time ago. She asked my dad to make her a Barbie Doll birthday cake. My dad, mum and I busy cleaning the house from the early morning until the sun set. My house was not that dirty, haha...just to tidy up all those stuff, make them pleasing to eyes. I was the driver who travelled in and out, buying paper plates, fork, ice and so on, fetching my sister's friend. I was bewildered after going out and coming back for a several times, and I told the wrong direction to my sister's friend's mother. What i told was right at first, and i clarified the wrong thing to her, then i corrected for my misrepresentation. Haiz, damn embarrassed at that moment!!!

We asked for catering coz it's much easier for not preparing so much of stuff. My sister just invited a few of her friends, all girls. Oh my god, my little sister doesnt like to invite boys. Most of the cousins were invited to my house, it was liked a family gathering. A lot of kids, babies, teens and adult. Busy chatting with my cousins, from table to table. Some babies got into tantrum, asking for toy. Then i had to carry those toys from cabinet to them, some want to play masak-masak, then some like cars, ultraman, spiderman. Hahaha...I was also the cameragirl. And yet, they tend to turn their head over when they found i spot on them. For this reason, i resigned from photographing and authorized my little cousin to do this job. Haha.

At the end, my dad, mum and I still had to do the cleaning chores. Sweeping and mopping the floor, wiping table, collecting waste, tidying up the living room...wah...damn tired...my sister just enjoyed the party and need not to do anything. so pity we are...hehe...It's ok for once in time, she is little girl and we have to do for her.

Chong Hwa Graduation Day

星期六那天, 08112008...也是中华第47届毕业典礼。。。
淑桦找我回去中华，也顺便来个咸菜家族聚会。。。
反正我已经考完试了。。。也想见见咸菜们，探望一下母校。。。
哈哈，7点钟就已经起床了，其实是睡不醒被妈咪叫醒的。。。
过后就去Serdang KTM载淑桦。。。
这是我第一次自己驾车回中华，并没有迷路哦^^
其实我真的很路痴，我所懂得路都是断断续续的，幸亏有妈咪亲手画的地图。。。嘻嘻~
也很开心终于可以自己驾车回自己的母校。。。哈哈~
最后还是很顺利的在25分钟内就到中华啦。。。
还顺便去载那个宁可在Uma等我们的翠文。。。
她很早就在那里啦，应该是在那里一边吃早餐一边读Law。。。哈哈~让你久等啦。。。
一踏进光前堂，就看到很yeng（穿着coat)的学长为我们开门。。。
仅仅这个就让我很吃惊了。。。
当时已经在播着毕业班的短片了。。。
感觉他们挺有创意的，而且一个短片的还蛮长。。。
其实中间的我也不多说啦，因为节目大体上是大同小异的，整体上有比我们上一届的来得及好一些。。。而且光前堂镇的变美了。。。
当中，我还到处去逛逛看看学校在这一年以来到底有什么变化。。。
食堂的员工都有统一的制服。。。
国字楼的厕所被初二班级领养+美化。。。
学校里的植物茂盛了许多。。。
光前堂楼上的走廊终于被挂上“门帘”，不像以前看上去拉拉杂杂的。。。
可是窗口的玻璃片两端都粘上（应该是胶纸吧）。。。防止玻璃片滑下。。。
也许还有更多的变化没被我发现吧。。。
其间也有遇到一些老师，有些老师还能记得我已经很开心啦。。。像张焜水，林桂菁，郑守旺，Ong Kee Lian,阿金。。。
在学校里看到那些认识的毕业生，阔别一年，我只记得样子，名字就真的不太记得了。。。
看到我的契弟，看不到阿仔。。。
还有从澳洲飞回来的俐婷，来当朋友的摄影师的源伟，雪玮，振宇，毅轩，俊薇，诗凿，陈家豪。。。


离开中华后，咸菜们（雪莉，道敏，翠文，淑桦还有我，少了一个Kakashi在台湾）回到咸菜们的住处探望婆婆。。。
哈哈，我和翠文两个福建话白痴，一直望着雪莉要她翻译，道敏就做“代言人”。。。
淑桦的福建话本来就没问题。。。
过后我们去到Kepong的太子茶餐厅吃午餐，也是吃我的brunch。。。哈哈~
在那里gathering一下，聊聊天。。。
过后去Jusco走走消化。。。
那天Jusco真的很多人耶。。。连parking floor也会jam。。。
最另我吃惊的是我初一的同班同学还认得我跟我Hi...
因为印象中自从初一我在中华校园里真的很少看见她们。。。


还有多少年以后我还会回去中华呢？会不会越来越少？
有些朋友说，毕业了却始终没办法脱离中华。。。
因为他们的大学就是个小中华。。。
而我现在的大学是个跟中华完全隔离的地方。。。
要寻找独中生的几率很少。。。
一个没有多少人跟我相似背景文化的地方。。。
所以， 这一年来我都在适应不同的东西，学习不一样的文化。。。
不是要忘掉自己的根本，只是让自己随着环境去改变。。。
去学习更多在中华以外的东西。。。
当然还是会很想念自己身边一起在中华成长的朋友。。。
偶尔会希望生活圈子里还有中华生的存在。。。
是眷恋那份归属感吧？
但人总不能活在过去，要求新求变才会走出过去的影子。。。
我还需要时间去磨练自己，还有很多很多是我还没学会的。。。
人总是要随环境而变，所谓适者生存。。。
否则会被环境所淘汰。。。

Happy 19th Birthday to me!!!

Today is my 19th Birthday. Does it mean tat i'll be no longer as a teen? haha~

this is the very first time my birthday is fall on exam period. Previously in chong hwa i think i had gone thru my final exam as well as UEC. I told myself not have any celebration or outing today, bcoz i still have three more papers after!!! Yet, i have spent half of the day with my mum. She treated me a palatable lunch (with my favourite mocha=) and a special dress that i like it very much^^. The marketing, biology and biotech is waiting for me to digest them, damn a lot of stuff to memorize. And three more days of neck pain for maintaining the position of lowering my head during writing in exam.

It is exactly my birthday today eitheir in lunar or solar calendar. haha...would i have this such coincidence again in my lifetime? Thanks to mum coz she bring me to this world, and I know she did suffer a lot on the day of my birth. I was a stubborn fetus 19 years ago that too big in size and could not come out. No surgery is available coz some of the doctors is on leave that day. hehe...not to mention much about the story here.

I did a test about the age of ur thinking three days ago. I think normally people would get the result of older age in thinking that his actual. However, i got seventeen after doing the test...about 50% of childishness - 40% of maturity, and the proportion of ageing is 3%. I know i'm not mature enough and sometimes behave quite childish in uni (i dunno, somebody always say me so, haha~~). but i think the most important is act natural. Since i cant deny i have already 19 now, i am a bit afraid of growing older.haha~~

At the end, I want to thanks all my friends who wish me today. I treasure u all much...love u all...thanks for sms and calls...

Free of reports + Uni life

Hooo~~the mid sem break ended..no more assignments and reports!!! YAY!!~~ (actually i'm not happy with life without reports...haha...dunno~juz cant get accustomed to such 'a bit boring' life in a short while of time).And now i gonna concentrate on studies--for FINAL. 22 days left to the final battle, hope that i wont be slack within this days. LAST DAY of chemistry lab and CHEMISTRY BABIES SHOW here!!!

Today is the last day of semester 2 chemistry lab session, Which means that this semester is reaching to the end!!! This week is Week 10, 3 more weeks left...Hmm~but there is one week HOLIDAY in between!!! yahoo~~!! and then....the final exam!! WOW,the time pass like the blinking of eyes. Every week we rush for two lab reports (the sequel would be 'ngai min bao' - foccacia, puff or sandwich) XD, 1 tutorial assignments and one 'ocasssionally' biotech essay, and study for bio miniquiz each week, but sometimes really cant finish studying, 90% of my bio lecture notes still looked clean and nice without any scribble. It does take extra time if i wanna make additional notes...but my bio texbook is overwhelmed with underline.haha.Am i consoling myself? i am so sayang my books until i am not hardhearted enough to highlight it. The textbook would be 'chemically luminescent' as i would highlight almost the whole page...HAHAHA...so, underline is better for me.

In today's lab, we were given unknown solution to identify the what metal compound it belongs to. So, those who are very lucky get a light blue solution is exactly the cupric ion. Mine is a colourless solution- the most challenging!!! Coz silver ion, lead ion, calcium ion, barium ion, zinc ion, cadmium ion or magnesium ion are all appeared colourless in solution! I was playful as it was the last lab, then i open the cover and simply smell on the bottle. I was a bit excited and instantly told wen hao (my lab partner) " I guess it is zinc!! " I forgot how did he respond but he was thinking i am a bit 'siow' and simply guessing wihout doing any test. We bet ice-cream (it's Baskin Robbins ice-cream!!!) on the unknown compound, he guessed it is cadmium ion.

We were doing the qualitative test step by step, some possible ions were assured not present in that unknown solution. Until the last part - which is significant to determine whether it is either zinc or cadmium. 'Lubdub-lubdub-" haha...my heart was not beating la. I just bet for fun. There is always be a loser and a winner in a game. I dont really care. white precipitation was formed!!! It supposed be ZINC~ Haha...we get confirmation from Jane, so should be no error. Wen Hao, dont so sad ok? You can just belanja the Mc' Donalds ice-cream. BUT you said u want to belanja Baskin Robbins, then 38 gang can share the big 'bucket' of ice-cream...HAHAHA~ You all know why am i so sure it was zinc? I dont know..It's just intuition. And the moment that i smell on it i have a strong feeling that it should be zinc. Sometimes i like to bet with myself to see how well my intuition is...haha...anyway, i hope this would be the start of bringing me luck, as i was in damn bad luck in a fortnight ago~ THANKS LUCK..Hope you will shield me from anything bad from now on...

Why named 38?

Why is it named as 38 gang??
Haha...Firstly, we all really 'sampat'....
About one month ago, we named as 38 just because we are 38...
And yesterday, 28.08.2008- '38' was given more connotations...

Suh Ming was the initiator that actually came out with the inspiration...
She made me keep thinking why we are called 38 during the BIO lecture yesterday...haha...
But i was still paying attention to the the lecture...lol...
